Naturally Better Landscaping - Speaker Series
Dear Queen Anne Colony Neighbors,
We wanted to let everyone know about an upcoming speaker series that
is part of the Naturally Better Landscaping project. In 2023 and 2024, Adkins
Arboretum in Ridgely, received funding from the Chesapeake Bay Trust (CBT)
to provide outreach and education to local homeowner associations (HOAs) in
support of environmentally friendly landscaping practices.
This speaker series was developed in partnership with ShoreRivers
and Queen Anne’s County officials and is open to the public and is free for HOA
members. The program consists of seven lectures.
The first lecture, entitled “Introduction to the Naturally Better Landscaping
Project,” will be held at the Chesapeake College Eastern Shore Education Center
on Sunday, June 2, from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. To register, click on the button below or visit adkinsarboretum.org for registration and additional information about the lecture series.
We hope you will find the programs interesting.
